Hello Food Nanny Members!
We have set the date of August 10th for our $5 Buffet for King School. For the past 7 years, we have supplied basic school supplies including backpacks for all 300 kids at King School. Feel free to come and donate $5 to eat or leave any school supplies at your coolers and we will pick them up when we drop off the food. Any questions about the event, give us a shout out. Here are your meals for the week….
*Mixed Greens – Blue Moon Farm
*French Dressing – sugar, vegetable oil, tomato paste, onion powder, vinegar, ketchup, salt, pepper
*Corn Chowder – corn, potatoes, celery, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, salt, pepper, butter, milk, cream
*Heirloom Tomato Quiche – eggs, cream, tomato, salt, pepper, mozzarella, flour, salt, butter, water
*Chocolate Bundt Cake with Caramel Bourbon Icing – flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, butter, shortening, sugar, vanilla, eggs, milk, powder sugar
*Hawaiian Turkey or Veggie Burger with Smoked Paprika Potatoes and Pineapple Slaw– Turkey burger is made with ground turkey, Hawaiian BBQ sauce, onion, carrot, garlic, salt and pepper. Veggie Burger is made with onion, red peppers, brown rice, black beans, garlic, carrots, red pepper flakes, pineapple ring, lettuce, tomato, onion, provolone, cilantro, bread crumbs, eggs, salt, pepper and olive oil. Potatoes are red skin potatoes, garlic, olive, oil, thyme, salt, pepper. Slaw is cabbage, pineapple, mayo, vinegar, sugar.
